HOW CAN I DECIDE WHAT'S RIGHT
Bella seems to be extremely unique when it comes to personality. She is incredibly stubborn and once her mind is made up there is almost no chance of changing it. Determination makes her up for anything, especially things that she is told she can’t do, then she do them just to prove you wrong. Her humor tends to lean more towards the sarcastic side and sadly is sometimes misunderstood by those around her. By nature Bella is a very curious person, and will work to find things out that she feels are being kept from her which often leads to troubling situations for the older teen. Along with this, Bella is extremely observant and notices things that others tend to miss.
You could call Isabella brave though some might just call it stupidity, since she has a terrible habit of putting herself in situations that would have most people running for the hills. There are many times where she is unaware about the danger she puts herself in or that she just doesn’t care enough to actually avoid it. This trait sometimes gets annoying to those close to her but Bella tends to shake off their worries, saying that she will be fine.
Lying is a major weakness for Bella, or at least, that is what she has been told by others. While this may be true, there are some lies that Bella is able to pull off with success, though this may just be because those around her choose to believe them instead of the truth. While Bella is not considered gullible, she has been known to fall for the lies that people tell her. This has largely to do with her own lying abilities, since she sometimes thinks that most people are as bad at it as she is. Sadly, this is hardly the case.
Embarrass easily; heck yes! It doesn’t take much to turn this brunette’s face red and it doesn’t help that her clumsiness draws far more attention to her than she would like. It is partly because of this that Bella dreads parties, dances, or anything of the sort where a lot of eyes are on her. In her opinion, that is just setting her up for a disaster.
Unlike most teens, Bella tends to be very mature for her age, though this was to be expected with having a mother like Renee. From a young age Isabella learned to take care of her mother, sometimes almost switching mother/daughter roles. Indeed, there are times where the roles disappear and the two are just good friends. Her ability to care about others more than herself gives people the thought that she is selfless which is true, though Bella doesn’t really see that in herself.
WHEN YOU'RE CLOUDING UP MY MIND
Upon looking at Isabella, one would never have guessed that she lived in Phoenix, Arizona for most of her life. Her skin is fair, more so than it should be from living in a state where the sun is almost constantly out. As if to add to the strangeness, her hair is an auburn brown which only makes her skin look all the more pale. Like her mother, Isabella has large, warm, brown eyes that seem to show everything that goes on in her head. It is a rather annoying thing to be told by others that you’re an open book because your eyes are showing the exact feelings your trying to hide and Bella does her best to keep this from happening.
Standing at five foot four, Isabella has a slender build that at the same time has a certain soft look to it. This is most likely do to the fact that she hardly partakes in any type of sports and therefore actually has a low amount of muscle. Her clothes are rather simple, since Bella prefers to go for a comfortable look more than for fashion sake. The more elegant a outfit is, the more she uncomfortable she feels. She can typically be found wearing jeans and a sweater and unlike many teen girls, Bella tends to spend very little time on her personal appearance. Make-up is hardly something you will ever see on her face, since she is far too lazy to apply it every day. There are rare occasions though where she feels that the situation calls for some and will put on the least amount that she can possibly get away with. Her hair, being straight, is usually worn down unless she is having a bad hair day or feels the need to keep it out of her face.
I CAN"T WIN YOU'RE LOSING FIGHT
A blush colored Bella’s cheeks as he kissed her forehead and before she spoke a chill ran down her spine as he ran his tumb along her lower lip. "Not nearly as much as I love you. I don't think that is humanly possible, to be honest." After he spoke he buried his face In her hair.“I think I can argue that case.” She replied, smiling as she spoke. Reaching up she placed her hand on the side of his face. But before she had the chance to say anything else he suddenly pulled away. A confused expression appeared on her face and at first she honestly began to wonder what it was that she had done wrong…But in the next moment he was beside her again, holding out a bottle of water. Hesitantly she took it from him and in the same moment he explained to her that he felt was best that she dehydrated and that she should sit down. “But…I feel fine..” She tried to explain to him as he led her over to a chair on the side of the yacht. She only frowned in response as he left to go take care of the boat. She wasn’t mad at him; oh not at all; but when it came to her health he was never up for negation… well this whole trio was one exception. She believed there had never been a single doubt in her mind…She knew that he would hurt her. With a sigh, she opened up the bottle of water, taking a drink as she looked towards the island.
A few minutes later he was by her side again, standing up she knew that it was time to go. And she was secretly grateful, the yacht was pretty but she prefers land. ”Isle Esme?!” Bella gasped.. it was one thing to spend your honeymoon on an island… But they owned the islands… She had though the yacht was bad enough…but this was worse. But then again, she should have expected this. After all money was one thing the Cullen family had to worry about. The house the lived in the cars they drove their yacht and now apparently an island as well. Was there anything they didn’t have, she wondered to herself if they had a private jet now that she’d seen all of this it wouldn’t be a surprise to her at all. Perhaps one day she would find out, but right now…she had so many other things,.. more important things to worry about… Being brought from her thoughts by the feel of Edward hands on her own, she looked up at him. A faint smile appearing on her face; though of course he mood would soon change
The moment they stepped off the boat the atmosphere changed drastically; things became more what was the right word for it… Bella really wasn’t all that sure herself, but whatever it was she felt uncomfortable.. Like all of this didn’t seem real until they’d finally arrived… Letting him lead her through the jungle like forest; Bella soon realized that the light was a house… The bright, perfect squares were windows that framed a front door. In that instant; Bella was overcome with an attack of stage fright; more so than she’d ever had in her entire life. Never had she thought that she would feel worse than she had when she’d believed that they were going to a hotel. Though she was physically fine, it felt as if her breath was getting stuck in her throat and her heart pounded audile against her ribs. More than likely Edward was probably watching her; but she didn’t know. She refused to meet his gaze, looking ahead at the house and yet seeing absolutely nothing at all. And for once..he didn’t ask what she was saying thinking..in fact he said nothing at all as the entered the house. Bella guessed that maybe he was as nervous as she was suddenly. She heard Edward as he placed the luggage into the open-doored closet. She was far too focused on other things to really acknowledge his presence at the moment.
The house, Bella believed has very large for an island of this size..about as large as the Cullen’s home in Forks. In fact that was why this unfamiliar place seems familiar to her. It was the same pale on pale color that they preferred; the same white as the mansion in Forks. To her it felt just like home, but she really was unable to focus on anything in particular. Everything was blurred to her due to the violent pulsing behind her ears. The room she stood in now..the main room was tall and of course white, the far wall was mostly glass. Outside the moon was bright and it glistened on the white sand; a few yards out from the house the waves from the ocean rolled up on to the sand. But something else and captured the attention on Isabella. In the center of the bed, hard for anyone to miss was a huge white bed. It hung with billowy clouds of mosquito netting. Hesitantly she moved forward..reaching her hand out in order to touch the netting. Almost as if to assure herself that it was real. "I'll....Be outside. If you want to find me."
She swallowed loudly, her body still facing away from him. “Alright…” She murmured and her voice broke… the panic she’d felt only moments ago hadn’t gone away and if anything it had only gotten worse. Slowly she turned to face him watching him as he walked out the door. The salty air swirled into the room behind him she sighed inaudible as she faced the large room once again. Suddenly it felt as if her skin was burning..but not in a bad way. She even glanced down at her arms just to check and of course..nothing… Reminding herself how to breathe and to continue she made her way across the room stumbling towards the suitcases on the floor of the closet. Getting on to her knees Bella pulled one suitcase in to her lap. With shaky hands she reached for the zipper on the side, puling it up until the suitcase now lade open on her lap. At first she honestly wouldn’t have known this was hers except for the fact that her bag of toiletries was sitting on the top. But other than that..nothing else was fimilar..none of these clothes belonged to her. With slow realization as she searched through the piles of clothes she felt that a majority of the fabric was either satin or lacey… lingerie. But it was worse than just simple lingerie no they were of French origin and made up over half the clothes that Alice had packed. Never had she wished for her holy shirt and old sweats now more in her entire life. Looking through the neatly folded piles once again; as if miraculously something that she could wear would appear. Anything familiar or just comfortable…but of course not; with an exasperated sigh Bella pushed the suitcase off her lap. Standing up once again; giving up entirely she made her way to the bathroom. As she entered it, she couldn’t help but glance out the windows that opened up to the beach just as the door Edward had walked out of. In the sky, the moon above was nearly full and it shined beautifully on to the sand as well as the ocean. She didn’t see him but as she looked something caught her attention. Something was hanging on one of the trees, blowing slightly in the wind. With a flash of heat across her skin she realized that it was his clothes.
Turning away from the windows, she walked to the mirrors taking a few deep breaths as she went. Her reflection was just as she had expected. Just how anyone would look after sleeping hours on a plane; with a sigh Bella located her brush and proceeded to fix her hair… well as best as she could. After that she brushed her teeth several times, just to make sure but of course she hadn’t been able to calm herself down at all. Pulling her hair to one side she put water on her neck and that was able to cool her down, and in fact it felt so good she decided to wash her arms as well. Then finally she just gave up, deciding it was simply best to just take a shower. She needed some way, any way to calm down and this appeared at the moment; to be her best bet. And she was right; the warm water against her skin did help. Doing a though, even though it seemed silly to take a shower before going swimming. But then again there were a lot of things she’d done and would be doing that would seem right to others. After all to begin with there had never been a honeymoon like this one and there probably never would be again. The relationship between Edward and herself; it wasn’t a secret that it was one of a kind.. The lion and the lamb..two that should belong together and yet loved each other more than two people ever had.
After a few minutes Bella turned the water off, grabbing a large white towel, she wrapped it tightly around her body. But back inside the bathroom, out of the shower; Bella was now faced with another problem.. What was she supposed to wear? It was a thought she really had pushed to the back of her mind until now. A bathing suit was just out of the question..but it would be silly and admittedly a waste of her time to put on her clothes once again. Moving against the wall, she let her back slide down it until she found herself sitting on the tiled floor of the bathroom. Closing her eyes she sat with her head between her knees. She really needed to pull herself together…what if Edward came to find her and saw her like this…falling to pieces… How easy would it be for Edward to convince himself that they were making a huge mistake…she knew it wouldn’t be hard at all and that was just it…she didn’t believe that they were making a mistake. She didn’t think that this was a mistake…not at all. She was afraid yes..but not for the reason he might assume…she was worried because she didn’t know how to do this… She was afraid to face the unkown… This felt like walking out on to a stage without the slightest idea of what your lines were or even what you were supposed to do. How did people to that…? Trust all their fears..their insecurities in one person…Bella knew that if it had been anyone else..any one Edward out there she never would have been able to leave this bathroom…But it was Edward out there…. ‘I can do this…I can do this..’ She murmured quietly to herself as she took in a deep breath. Rising to her feet, tightening the towel around herself as she did, Bella walked out of the bathroom.
Without a moment of hesitation, she walked past the open closet…past the large bed; looking at neither as she opened the large French doors and stepped out on to the sandy beach. Everything was black and white, all the color bleached out by the light of the moon. Walking slowly across the powder fine sand Bella only stopped at the twisted tree that bended over into the ground. The tree where Edward had left his clothes, her hand gently resting against the rough bark, she looked out in to the sea. Checking her breathing, it was even..well enough. Black because of the darkness she looked across the low ripples of the water..searching for him. He wasn’t that heard to find, in the water was where he stood with his back to her. The water up to his waste, the light from the moon reflecting dimly off of his skin; he was staring up at the sky. Just like the sand..just like the moon he was a perfect white, and his wet hair…black as the ocean. He was motionless, but from where she stood, she could see that he had his hands palms down resting against the waters surface. The waves broke around him as if he were a stone. But besides this she stared the smooth lines of his back, his arms his shoulders, his neck; just the flawless shape of him. In that moment everything else vanished; all her fears.. all her doubts were gone as she watched him. Slipping the towel off without a second thought, she placed it on the tree beside he clothes.
Walking out into the white light, and just like everything else she was as pale as the snowy sand. She could hear her footsteps she moved across the sand but she knew that he could and yet he did not turn to face her.Never stopping even as she reached the waters edge, she moved further and further. As the water got deeper until finally, finally she stopped at Edward’s side. Reaching out she placed her hand gently over his. Looking at his face, she then followed his gaze up to the sky. Her chocolate brown eyes looked at the moon. “It’s beautiful, isn’t it…?” She asked her voice full of adoration.
